Hi, I’m Kun Covington. My friends call me Queenie, and it’s great to have you here.
Our mission “to love and live well” comes from years of using olive oil to enhance the lives and nutrition of my family. It’s a journey that started in true serendipity, hence the name of our parent company, Serendipity Trading, LLC.
I was lucky enough to have a friend that was familiar with Marsicani olive oils more than 10 years ago. At the time, she was the only international olive oil competition judge in China, and knew more about what makes a truly remarkable olive oil than anyone I could have hoped to meet. She introduced me to the tremendous health benefits of olive oil in the form of a gift of Marsicani extra virgin olive oils when my son was just four months old.
From topical application to help his skin stay moisturized and healthy, to adding it to his diet at an early age to help with growth, brain development, cognitive health, and overall wellbeing, this journey has been the gift that truly keeps on giving.
As a certified Olive Oil Sommelier and olive oil educator, I’ve had the pleasure of working with numerous families and individuals that simply want to improve the quality of their diets. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with people suffering from significant health issues, including diabetes, heart disease, weight gain, and respiratory problems, as they explored natural alternatives to medication that would improve their health and their quality of life. I’ve also had the chance to share recipes and ideas with people that want to find easy and delicious ways to incorporate high-nutrient foods into their daily life.
I’ve seen the difference well-made EVOOs can make in so many different lives, including the life of my son who has developed a deep passion for cooking at just eight years old as a result of our family’s journey down this path.
